Storytime: RIP Betta Fish 😢 Fishkeeping and My Mental Health

Arnold the betta fish died yesterday (10/10/2018). He was a marble galaxy koi plakat male that I raised from a baby from my very first betta breeding project. His loss, as well as the death of a few other betta fish, has taken a toll on my mental health for a while now. As a pet and fishkeeping youtuber, I feel a tremendous responsibility to do everything right, never make mistakes, and set the absolute highest example I could for the betta community. This in turn causes me to become over critical of myself and in a way be mentally self-destructive. I hope that opening up about this will help me acknowledge this problem and work towards bettering myself.
